Bank Holiday Weekend

Saturday and Sunday were fine with a rainy day on Monday.

Got lots done in the garden, glazed the greenhouse on Saturday morning and then borrowed Jonathan's rotovator in the afternoon. Brilliant! I managed to dig over all the soil for the new lawn in just a couple of hours, on Sunday I transferred most of the rest of the soil onto the lawn and used to rotovator to chop it up.

I still need to rake it a little more level before seeding it but much of the work is now done.

On Monday a little shopping, a little reading and a little picking rhubarb before getting ready for work in the morning.

Another night

Quiet last night, fed the hens and then made sure the new green house was square on it's base. Luke, of course was a great help!

This weekend I plan to put the glass in and construct the beds.

Also I'm planning (weather permitting) to rotovate the soil ready for sowing the new grass seed.

M6 Closed

Why oh why couldn't the "traffic information" sign on the A6 have shown "M6 Closed" rather than "Think Bike" yesterday?
